Switzerland-based Pictet Group has acquired the five-star Kimpton Aysla Mallorca as part of a turnkey sale, through funds managed and/or advised by Pictet Alternative Advisors, for an undisclosed sum. The hotel is located on the Balearic Island of Mallorca in the municipality of Calviá, 20 km south-west of Palma, next to Santa Ponsa Golf Club and Santa Ponsa Tennis Club.

The hotel extends over an area of 21,840 sqm and will include 79 guest rooms, restaurants, two outdoor swimming pools, one indoor swimming pool, a wellness area, fitness facilities and meeting amenities. The property will be managed by IHG under its luxury lifestyle flag Kimpton, which will be the brand’s first resort hotel in Spain and the second flag of its kind in the country.
