Preferred Hotels & Resorts – the world’s largest independent hotel brand representing more than 750 distinctive hotels, resorts, and residences across 85 countries – today unveiled the winners of its first-ever I Prefer Members’ Choice Awards. These new awards celebrate hotels worldwide that are best-of-the-best in delivering high quality standards and exceptional, personalized experiences to members of the brand’s I Prefer Hotel Rewards program, as determined by votes collected from I Prefer members in December 2018. Forty hotels were selected as winners across four regional categories, with New Orleans’ iconic Hotel Monteleone voted the #1 hotel globally, and top honors in the other regions going to Pulitzer Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Royal Plaza on Scotts in Singapore, and Half Moon in Jamaica.

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London will re-open in its entirety on Monday 15 April 2019, having completed the most extensive restoration in its 117-year history. Following the re-opening of the public spaces in December 2018, the hotel now unveils all new guest rooms and suites, including two newly created expansive penthouse suites. Most accommodation offers exceptional views of leafy Hyde Park and the London skyline.
