Hotels provide a lengthy menu of amenities based on the (largely accurate) perception that guests want those amenities and claim they will use them. While many guests do exactly that, a substantial percentage will “overpredict” which amenities they will use.

The survey reveals an overwhelming majority (90 percent) of respondents enjoy business travel and they most value convenient travel times and hotel locations, along with direct flights, over personal comforts or benefits; such as flying business class or earning loyalty points.
